In a gold mining operation in Peru, the original factory configuration bucket needs to be shut down for welding maintenance due to serious wear and tear during 1000 hours of work, resulting in low production efficiency and high maintenance costs.
In order to achieve the best productivity, we fully communicated with the customer through video teleconferencing to understand the density of the excavation material and the heavily worn parts. We specially designed the BUCKET to optimize the digging force and power of the machine, selected the YF BUCKET rock bucket, and made targeted changes to some special details.
We designed the double radius housing profile to improve material digging into the bucket and reduce drag at the bottom of the bucket, thus reducing wear.
The scalloped blade, coupled with rock-shaped fangs and lip protection, has sharp edges that allow for deeper digging, easier tearing of harder rock, and quick loading into the bucket.
The bucket shape and side rails keep the most material in the bucket at each load, loading more material in less time.
High strength wear-resistant steel NM450-500 (HB450-500) is used in all heavy wear parts to add multiple additional protection in high wear areas with more contact materials.
